BILLBOARD ADVERTISING

ONE FOR ONE

 

Visual space that functions on two levels, visual literacy and renewable energy.  Advertising and energy companies can merge on the same footprint to collect energy and disseminate information.  Mono-functional graphics can have an improved impact on the Assembly Bill 32: Global Warming Solutions Act.  Perhaps as a society we can think about every dollar spent on advertising is a dollar spent on producing energy.  The typical business may budget around 10% of the company’s expenditures on advertising and marketing.  The highway billboards are a great example of opportunities to merge the growing business of solar power energy and the need to create a redundancy of current to energy grid.

A redesign on the current billboard and other advertising devices can be intentionally beautiful.
